The challenge

This was never a lack of expertise. Earlier posts on AI governance, technology risk and platform accountability often generated hundreds rather than thousands of impressions, frequently landing at roughly 300.

The goal was to build a more deliberate thought-leadership system around existing expertise and ensure the content reached an audience with a genuine interest in AI governance.

Strategic approach

  1. 01

    Activate the relevant network

Colleagues were encouraged to engage early, providing relevance signals to the algorithm, with wording tailored to people working in AI and governance.

  2. 02

    Reach strategically relevant people

The strategy increased visibility among the client's ICP, creating opportunities for the content to be discussed by peers and associated with their wider work.

  3. 03

    Optimise for genuine insight

Posts were structured to invite longer comments and real discussion: clear points of view backed by evidence, practical examples and timely questions, lifting cadence to 5.2 posts a week.

Results

Across April and May 2026, impressions rose 749.7% and engagement 928.4% versus the prior period, reaching a notably senior audience, 40% of which was categorised as Senior, alongside Director, CXO, Owner, Partner and VP segments.

The programme documented 200 connection requests and stronger inbound interest. It is reported alongside an estimated earned-media value of $3,411 (quarter to date), an analytics estimate rather than booked revenue.

Explainability as a practical problem

A financial-services example showing explainability is not merely technical: it requires clear accountabilities, defined hand-offs, practical tooling and the discipline not to deploy where explainability can't be achieved.
